Sustainability
Hoptonic Tea is a craft brewed sparkling tea beverage company. Our mission is to provide the best tasting sparkling tea without compromising our planet. Our slogan, “For a better earth and better you” helps guide us in our decision to work with partners or farmers who embody the regenerative agriculture mindset. In addition, all of our ingredients are organic certified, so you know you’re getting the best of the best.
What does regenerative farming mean?
Regenerative agriculture is a holistic approach to farming that focuses on improving the health of the soil, ecosystem, and community. By implementing regenerative practices such as crop rotation, cover cropping, and no-till farming, farmers can improve soil health, increase biodiversity, and enhance ecosystem services.
By choosing products grown using regenerative agriculture practices, consumers can support a more sustainable and ethical farming system that promotes the long-term health and vitality of the land.

CatSpring Farm:
CatSpring Yaupon, founded by Abianne a decade ago, is a woman-led company deeply committed to both the land and the people. In the face of a historical drought in 2011, they discovered the resilient yaupon, a native American plant with natural caffeine, which has been enjoyed as a tea for centuries. Through sustainable practices and a "People First" approach to employment, they've helped us bring this special ingredient to life in our sparkling teas. CatSpring Yaupon embodies growth, sustainability, and the power of community, making them an ideal partner for our mission.
Herb Pharm:
At Herb Pharm, we take care of plants, so they take care of people. Everything we do is rooted in what’s right. We’re a B Corp, the world’s first Regenerative Organic Certified® herb farm and have been sharing our expertly crafted liquid herbal extracts for over 4 decades.
Alaya Tea:
Alaya comes from “Himalaya,” the region that inspired us to build a tea company. After growing up drinking chai and traversing this mountainous area in India’s Northeast, visiting small farmers and tea estates, we were keen to build a company that respects these communities and addresses the environmental challenges we face through agriculture.
